I love to get up in the morning and curl up next to the fire with a cup of coffee and my Bible, our dog Moose beside me. I know, that’s not something I should admit in polite company. I can do all this through him who gives me strength (Philippians 4:11-13 NIV). I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. He didn’t wait until we asked for forgiveness or even knew that we needed forgiveness. He didn’t wait until we shaped up or got cleaned up. ![]() “But God shows his great love for us in this way: Christ died for us while we were still sinners” (Romans 5:8 NCV). Forgiveness was born on a cross where Jesus Christ loved us enough to die for our sin. We cannot really forgive until we have really been forgiven. ![]() Sometimes the hardest thing to say is “I’m sorry” or to admit it when we have hurt someone! The only thing that can be harder is to forgive those who have hurt us! You will throw away all our sins into the deepest part of the sea (Micah 7:18-19 NCV). You will have mercy on us again you will conquer our sins. You will not stay angry forever, because you enjoy being kind. You forgive those who are guilty of sin you don’t look at the sins of your people who are left alive.
